Hy, we stayed 4 nights in the hotel stresa palace in Lago Maggiore. During our stay in the hotel there were so many family's with baby's and teenagers. There are friendly in the hotel. Right opposite the hotel you have public beach access for free, you have to bring towels, hotel is not providing any beach service. In walking distance there is a little plaza where you can sit and eat everywhere. Like pasta etc. In our hotel there is no activity for kids in or around the pool but it is flat on one side and deeper on the other side so kids can play. But no slides or anything like that. They have a beautiful parc area in the hotel, like a big garden. Unfortunately I'm here not able to put any pics otherwise I would do. So like I said lots of family's with kids and even baby's. Hope it was helpful

Although I didn't travel as a family there were quite a few staying there when I did. The kids were all playing around the pool and the lawn area out the back. Also there is a beach on the lake and play area across the road for them as well. Hope this helps

Hello,

Currently here at the hotel now with my children 3 & 8, I would say this is not a very child friendly hotel, it is beautiful but my children are so well behaved although can be a little loud at times, they've been told off for 'screaming' at the pool!

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I'm sorry I can't be of much help in that regard.

I was only there 2 days and spent most of my time out.

I did not notice very many children though, but, I guess it depends on school holidays mostly.

It is a good hotel, pool area is good.
