Base Nature Francois Leotard Questions & Answers

Dublin, Ireland

Are there suitable areas for children aged 5 years, 3 years and one year? Places that are safe and not too far from car park; the youngest will be transported in a buggy. Shelter from the midday sun is another 'must have'

If you are going to the actual beach, I would take or buy a cheap beach umbrella, available locally.

The sun there can be very strong.

Shade in the Restaurant dela Piscine obviously and some tree's.

Yes, there are two playgrounds and a jumping thing for toddlers. All close, same area. Shelter...mmm..maybe but honestly I cannot remember but not in every area. Maybe bring an umbrella

The short answer is no, there are no places out of the midday sun for small children. The beach is lovely but open and not shaded in any part that I can remember. It is right next to the parking though. Hope this is helpful
