Hi.

Thanks for your question. The best route is down Footpath No. 22 which comes off Sancroft road, which will bring you across the fields. The only other route is down Locko Road but this is a very busy road and there is no pavement.

we got there on foot catch a bus into Spondon (we was in Ilkeston) then it was a 20min walk from town using the GPS on our phone. There is a 2min walk with no path just grass to the main farm tho so probably a bit dangerous for pushchairs an wheelchair users. we walked it safely with a 4yr old tho.

there is a footpath halfway down sancroft road just follow it to the bottom you will see bluebells on the right at the top of a track.should be alright now but gets a bit tricky in wet weather.
