During summer months NO

There is a maximum £1000 fine

I think they are allowed October to March but these are only approx

Dogs not allowed in summer on any St Ives beaches.

Having said that there is a very small beach next to harbour wall where dogs seem to be allowed to play. As far as I know it does not have a name and is not used by anyone except dog owners. It is very small with access to the sea.

Not on Porthminster during summer season - there is a dog beach near the St Ives Museum called Bamaluz and dogs can also go on a section of beach behind the Lifeboat Station.

I don’t have a dog. The place is spotless but I have seen dogs in the pubs. The locals do not mind them. Check out other beaches that you can walk your dog. I’m sure I read somewhere that you can. Now because it’s a headland, there are loads of beaches.
