What is the best way to travel to St. Joseph’s Oratory from Old Town Montreal?
By subway (exit Cote des Neiges/blue line) with 10 mins walk (right and right) to Queen Mary street where the Oratory is. By cab or Uber from the Old Port (will be around CDN$20). Enjoy your visit.
We found St. Joseph not easily accessible by Metro (subway) when compared to other attractions. Uber was very good in getting us to and from the Oratory.
I can't remember the name of the Metro station closest, but it was easily accessible. (Montreal's public transit system is great!)
Thank you so much for all your travel advice. So look forward to enjoying your city.
You may take the metro from Place-d'Armes station to Snowdon station and the 51 bus to the Oratory....a cab or uber works too...hope this is helpful.
You can take the subway + bus: quick at rush hour. If you rent a Bixi (bike), easy assuming one is in good shape. Otherwise: Uber or Cab. I also recommend visiting the Mt-Royal park if it’s a sunny day. Wishing you a nice visit.
