Hi, I booked an accessible room in June in the hope that the lift to the entrance would be fixed and that as a wheel chair user I could access my room. I have stayed in the Big Sleep in Cheltenham which has excellent facilities for wheelchair users and assumed this would be the case here. Unfortunately the lift has not been fixed and there seems be no intention of doing so. This has been the situation for over a year. I'd just like to bring to your attention the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 part 3 which clearly states that for all public buildings reasonable adjustments have to be made in relation to physical features of their premises to overcome any physical barriers. This hotel has been open since 2008, initially with a functioning lift, but for some reason this has not been prioritised for repair.
I know your Vice President Nick is on holiday until 30th October but perhaps he might like to explain when he returns why he feels it's ok to contravene this Act and thereby prevent disabled holiday makers from accessing his Hotel?
Is there somewhere safe we can lock up our bikes? We are on a cycling holiday.
Are there any vegan options at breakfast?
Hi tripadviser shows there is a swimming pool and gym, but the hotel website makes no mention of this or photos? Can someone please confirm the facilities. Many thanks.
Hi, I have just booked a 2 night stay for my husband and myself on Saturday 28th to Sunday 30th March. I chose your hotel because the booking site said pets were complimentary but you needed to notify in advance if bringing one. We will have our (very well behaved) Golden Retriever with us.
