If you are anywhere near Brenham you must stop at Bluebell. Sadly their fabulous tours are no longer running, those were amazing, but you can still get a dose of history and a $1 scoop of delicious Blue Bell, some flavors are only available at parlors! A Texas must see!

An excellent afternoon spent sampling some beers and Texan hospitality . Highly recommend and would return without hesitation.

Stopped by for a beer. Nice outdoor area with heaters for the chilly weather. Would recommend if you are in the area for a drink

We loved Coney Island Christmas & appreciated the talent poured into this production. The kids and adult actors all did a fantastic job - acting and singing! We sat on the back row and could see well. We’ve enjoyed every show we’ve seen at Unity Theatre.

Nice way to spend an hour walking around the gardens and taking photographs. We were late in the season but still lots of blooms to see.

We saw the Vinyl Radio concert (70’s music/cover band) here in June. What an incredible group and our favorite at the Barnhill so far! They rocked it. Enjoyed listening to the 70’s pop rock tunes - these guys were pure talent. So glad we have this local facility to bring in great entertainment! Clean, nice staff, easy ticketing, free parking.

This building was originally a stage coach repair shop. The old floor is still there where they would drive the coach to it and lift it up to the second floor. The second floor has over 70 windows for natural light.

After that it became a drug store. An old prescription pad is there and old recipes for drugs. The bottles in the cases are cool and there are old King Edward cigar boxes that remind me of my grandpa.

It is a short tour, but interesting. Glad we stopped by.

This is an interesting little piece of history hidden in the bustling little town of Brenham. It is worth stopping by but won’t keep you busy for long.

We stayed one night in the master suite which was fabulous! The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The linens are exquisite! We were greeted with a happy hour upon arrival which was a super nice treat! We received a grand tour of this beautiful 1898 built mansion. Cynthia gave us a lot of the history of the home and furnishings. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Eggs Benedict that can’t be beat along with many sides to compliment the main course.
Cynthia was a joy to visit with and made our trip wonderful! We will return next time we are in the area!

This is an excellent museum. Brenham has a fascinating history pertaining to their fire dept. Open primarily on weekends and special dates.

Gorgeous store -- one of my happy places. And I have gotten tons of inspiration here and made quite a few purchases. Reviewers have commented on the items in this store as being overpriced, and that may be true. But some of the prices reflect the quality, condition and rarity of the pieces as well as the cost of shipping from Europe. If you want to browse, you're good, but if you arrive at the check-out counter with only a small, low-cost item, you are likely to get a snide comment from the sales associates, delivered in that passive-aggressive Southern belle way, about the paucity of your purchases. To the effect of: "Oh, so you were only in here looking for something small." Browse or buy BIG, or you'll be treated as though you don't belong there.

Went on Saturday afternoon, cashier is very friendly. Others were short and not informative about winery. I really like to hear about the winery but didn’t get the chance at this one. Wine tour came in and got too busy to care about customers.
