Dirt road for the last 6km from the main highway, easily accessible by all vehicle. Plenty of parking places, and please pay the Day Pass visit to help with the up keep.

Our family did not climb the tree, but we just love the area and admire how the people locate this tree many years ago.

I did noticed some upgrade from my last visit nearly 20 years ago. The side netting is a welcome sight.

Stopped off here to stretch our legs during drive from Augusta to Walpole. Nice walk from the car park to the falls which are not big but pretty. Lots of look out points and a fun wobbly suspension bridge! There are also some well marked short walking trails - we walked to Walk Through Tree which took about an hour there and back.

Very beautiful, and nice to do a walk through the huge trees. I didn’t want to climb so probably didn’t get the full experience - my partner said the climb was great.

Walked the dam perimeter - beautiful. Even though it's a warm day the shady walk was cool and very green. Saw lovely birds as well as the tall karris. About 4K and good going the whole bitumen track. Highly recommended.

We were just going to go to Windy Harbour with our van on the back and have a look and really didnt expect much.We were in awe.The wildflowers were out and from the minute we turned onto the road into Windy Harbour we were stunned by its beauty.I really dont think I have seen that many wildflowers and the colours were amazing. The coast line and the views were great and we will be back again during the season to spend more time there. Most areas we could take the caravan except for Salmon Bay which was a pity.Beautiful wheel chair accessible tracks and lookouts,Drop toilets, picnic areas and all ammenites.Dont drive past and miss it.Not sure if you have to pay the park fee as we have a year pass which is worth investing in as well.RAC do a park pass for $60 a tear and we would have used that in the first week of being away

The truffle Liquor and the cider from Mountford wines are absolutely special and unique. World class product, we serve them to all our friends and family!
We highly recommend a visit in their beautiful tasting room. It is a must stop location when in Pemberton area.

I’m so glad we found this gem! You have to book ahead and tastings cost $30 or $10 for non-drinkers. You can bring kids but I was glad we left our (older) kids at the holiday home so that we could relax and enjoy the experience.
Dave took us through the tastings, with his wife Monica bringing in food tastings to accompany the wines. The tastings were generous and we were able to taste a good variety of wines. There was absolutely no pressure to buy at the end but we really liked the rose and Prosecco and bought some bottles. The food was a real unexpected treat. I won’t spoil it, but the potatoes were awesome, and Dave’s homemade special was definitely my favourite!
This was a lovely, personal experience, we all enjoyed sitting round the table and enjoying these beautiful wines and local produce and a good chat with Dave. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting the region. We will definitely be back!

As a group of 16, some inexperienced, we enjoyed our hike on the Warren River Loop Trail. The trail is well-marked, but before setting out, and especially if one is inexperienced, one should read up on the trail. It's important to know the trail marker and follow it. We didn't and we walked an extra 2 km at the start.
The mossy vegetation gave an ethereal feel. It was early spring, and it was forecast to rain, but it turned out that only light showers wet us, and the rain added to the beauty of the experience.

The walk beside the Warren River was the best. Since we walked the loop clockwise, after parking at the Bicentennial Tree, which turned out to be badly-advised, we had to struggle on the climb away from the river.

There were several camp grounds and picnic spots, which would be welcomed by visitors, either coming in vehicles, or like us, I foot.
A must-do, and one of the best trails in the State.

Peter Kovacsy Studio and Gallery was well worth a visit. Peter encourages you to spend time and enjoy his incredible art creations. We particularly loved the glass sculptures, inspired and reflecting nature. Peter was very generous with his time and showed us through his workshop, explained some of the process in making the glass and other sculptures and displayed some of his new works. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The beautiful works are available for purchase direct or through Peter’s website.

Unique 80m long artistic wall made of 2 sided panels lit at night to showcase the 10 artists' designs - inspired by the forest. Make sure you look at the panels from both sides. Don't miss the delightful children's designs of "What lives in the Forest"- set in pavers on both sides of the main street.
