Fantastic numbers of flamingos as well as egrets and herons. Very warm and beware the bugs! You could easily spend a couple of hours here and not expensive.

A must see if you are in the area. There was a mass while we were visiting and you really get a feel for the church and it's history. There is so much to learn about

Such a beautiful place even on a very windy day when it was mistral season. The water was beautiful and you could see so very far out.

We would visit again. This says it all. What a property!!!! The fantastic local architecture, the interesting layout, 2 pools, a restaurant, and very good service. Typically we go to Antibes, this is a refreshing alternative with lots to do within a short drive to Arles or other nearby attractions.

It’s not an attraction, it’s a free ferry crossing! Where we live the ferry is $25 for a car and driver... This little ferry does what others should do.. operate for free as part of the road systems...
    Very unexpected.

The chateau wasn’t open, but we were welcome to walk around the grounds. Too bad no picnic allowed. Nice quiet place to stroll, neat bamboo woods, nice grounds.

Fairly flat but little shade. 26km round trip from Saintes-Maries de la Mer. Great sampling of the Carmargue but take plenty of water and be careful on hot sunny days. We walked but there were plenty of bicycles enjoying the day.

Original born brown turned white Camargue horses roam free, unique type of bulls and horses from this region to see and ride, naturally very scenic and historical town to shop and eat in.

This is a very smart harbour consisting of a small working harbour for fishing boats, and a large marina for a variety of yachts and pleasure craft. This is also where you can get the pleasure boat trips to Le Petite Rhone.

The location is central to the town and all the amenities it has to offer.

For those who are good riders and respect nature and the local environment this is the place to go. Did the Randonnée Radeaux which was roughly 5 to 6 hours of amazing cross terrain riding with a picnic lunch stop on the beach. Joel and Patty did an excellent job of selecting the right ride (the horses are well loved and cared for) and making sure we were well fed and watered. Highly recommend as a riding experience and delightful way to explore the magic of the Camargue. Not for the inexperienced.
