What travellers are saying
- Danny MNew York City, NY4 contributionsExcellent service, great food and cocktails. Nice lounges and the water is better than the Caribbean. We were staying in Lecce with nothing but bathing suits as far as a beach trip goes. We were looking for a Sandy beach, not rocky. We drove out to the club which was easily found on gps and east parking. The club set us up for the day with lounges and towels. Very clean changing areas. Couldn’t have asked for more. Great spot!Written 30 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- barvladTimisoara, Romania1 contributionVery kind staff, the beach is very clean, the water is extraordinary and most importantly there are no stones.Written 14 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Wide beach with fine sand. The crystal clear water stays shallow for about 100 feet offshore. Sand Dunes behind part of the beach make a nice backdrop.
There are numerous places to rent lounges and umbrellas, and several cafes.
We found free parking on the road leading to the beach.Written 19 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As it is a bay, there are less waves than in some of the other areas. Definitely worth a visit.Written 28 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- titaElizQueretaro City, Mexico65 contributionsThe beach is amazing, the sunbeds are very comfy and the staff is nice. I have to say that the umbrellas design are clever and also eco-friendly ( they look made of recyclable materials) I dropped a star because there was a lot of sea weed and little animals that bite you.
I highly recommend yo to bring your own big bottle of water and some snacks, so you won't spend a fortune.Written 10 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. To par a car is 5 €.
The entrance on the beach to rent 2 sunbeds and the umbrella is above the average, second raw is 35 €.
The self service offer variety of local food and it is good, the only problem is the slow service.Written 8 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The place has delicious food and jazz/bossa nova music, the staff is friendly, I really recommend if you’re looking to relax while enjoying an amazing view and local food.Written 14 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leah H66 contributionsHad a lovely time on the beach. White and, crystal clear, still water. Not much around there. Recommend visiting for a day trip only. Hotels look way overpriced and there are much nicer towns in Italy than Porto Cesaro (the closest town). It was an easy 1.5 hour drive from Monopoli (which is a great place to stay) and we went on to stay at Gallipoli (40 mins drive) which I highly recommend visiting and staying a few nightsWritten 24 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hurricanekatrinaruleWoolhope, UK243 contributionsWe thought we would find the seaside and came across this place. The sea is beautiful and ideal for small children as it is shallow. There are some little fish that swim near the shore. I think we visited out of season so could park on the road. The town nearby has plenty of places to eat and drink, buy ice-cream and beach toys. The town is a little dated but if it was more modern, I expect more people would visit.Written 29 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Erik TulkensHasselt, Belgium15 contributionsAt bacino grande there is a nice retaurant with the same name open practically all year round . Resto is very clean , open , spacious, right on the sea shore, ample parking, good service ,
value for money.Written 9 December 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You could either just lie down on the beach or rent deck chair and umbrella. The water was crystal clear and allowed swimming for the little ones as well as kids/teens and adult swimmers. Once back in Puglia, I will be definitely coming back :)Written 17 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
