- Meggie T17 contributionsAmazing opportunity to view gannets up close. Jan, our guide and driver, made sure we were all comfortable, offered tea and coffee, and was happy to take our pictures. I’m pleased that we were given enough time to wander around the cliffs to enjoy the scenery and beautiful birds. Everything was well organised and seamless. It was an absolutely perfect day and I highly reccommend booking with On Yer Bike, to experience some Hawkes Bay’s best wine and food options. Biking provides the perfect balance to the winery visits. - Nasus2United Kingdom93 contributionsWe ( 10 friends aus/ brits and Americans) toured Napier wine district with tailed travel and were absolute,y blown away by the quality of the tour. Chris was an excellent guide and we visited te mats peak, bird woods gallery and cafe and craggy range winery. The view from te mats was amazing, bird woods gallery was unbelievable and I cannot find an adjective good enough to describe their scones and the wine at crazy range is the best I have ever tasted. We were picked up at the dock by Chris and taken on an amazing tour including some great views from Te Mata, to morning tea at Birdswood (would highly recommend) to wineries like Mission Winery to being dropped off downtown for a look around before returning to our ship.
I would highly recommend this tour we found Chris to be very knowledgeable, an excellent communicator and knew when to be around you and when to leave you alone.
