- Charlotte P2 contributionsAn incredible experience, spectacular views of the salt flats, a beautiful sunset on the first night, lots of pretty stops on the second day, and a spectacularly third morning volcano trip which made the day of driving worth it! Walvertito was an excellent guide providing knowledgeable and interesting facts across the three days. It was my 30th birthday on the third day and the mornings views are ones I’ll never forget.
Fortunate to have a great group which always helps! Food was of a good standard (expect similar to what you’d receive on most tours - Andes catered for all the vegetarians in the group). Afternoon tea / coffee and crackers were great after long days before dinner was served.
I accidentally left my rain coat in the car and the company were kind and helpful when trying to locate and coordinate onwards delivery as I’d already left Uyuni. Our tour guide Walvertito was so helpful with this and I cannot thank him enough!
Accommodation was comfortable with en suite bathrooms each night. WiFi was an optional additional purchase but most of us enjoyed switching off for a few days.

He spoke very good English and was the perfect guide. We can't praise him enough. The tour was an extremely fun day with many enjoyable attractions. The agency has been so professional, not only did they arranged everything for us, the one night accommodation was in the FIVE star Palaciol de Sol as a gift for Christmas. Guide on the first day was Jose, who was very extensive in giving details for every site we went to and help took lots of fun pictures over the dried lake. Second day we were with Edwin, who arranged us climbing the volcano tunupa, it was challenging but fun. And Edwin took lots of photos for us over the lake reflection. - anouck o1 contributionThis tour was just incredible, I will cherish those three days for the rest of my life. Diego, who welcomed us in the agency, is very helpful and understanding. The tour was well planned, the food very good with options for vegetarians etc and the cars and accommodations very nice. We went on the tour with Marvin who I highly recommend. - Tracy C2 contributionsMy husband and 2 kids had tour to cross San Petro boarder to Atacama/ Chile. Trip was great, they enjoyed landscape. There is little hiccup at Chile boarder. As my husband didn’t have written doc to show he can take daughters along without mom. The driver picked them up were waiting and help to explain. Thanks for Angie from Skyline to give me update. - Janet F31 contributionsAmazing. From the first contact Joker Expedition have been beyond helpful and informative and provided a high standard of service. On the night we did our stargazing tour we had Leroy as our guide. He is AMAZING. His local knowledge of Uyuni and La Paz is great, for food, cocktails, shopping, anything you need to know, his enthusiasm is infectious and he's great to have as a guide. Even more importantly when the temperature is below zero and you're trying to get a good photo of the milky way, his photographic skills are invaluable. I would not have the incredible photo I have were it not for Leroy's help. He was incredibly knowledgeable about my camera, the settings required for the best photo, the constellations we could see and he even had a spare tripod to get THE photo. He told us information about each place and then gave us free time to explore. He was an expert at taking funny photos on the salt flats. - Emma S7 contributionsA fantastic experience of Uyuni Salt Flats. Nadia, our guide, was wonderful and she looked after us very well giving us lots of information and taking lots of photos for us. Our driver was also brilliant and we felt completely safe in his driving and navigational skills out on the salt flats. Nothing was too much for either of them and they made sure we were able to stay out later in the salt flats to watch sunset and see the stars. Food and water provided all day long and was lovely. We had Poli who’s a very experienced driver and we felt very safe and Victor our English speaking guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the areas we visited as well as the Bolivian culture. We learned a lot ! We saw some amazing sights and both were happy to stop as much as we wanted as my husband likes to take photos. Nothing was too much trouble.
They were both very courteous and good fun .Thanks for the great photos you took Victor especially on the Salt flat !
It was all very well organised and never felt rushed . We had some delicious lunches in good places . The hotels were well situated and good.
