We visited the falls as part of our visit to Raglan. Enjoyed the short walk that led first to the top and then the bottom of the falls. Very photogenic.

It is a wonderful beach to play and have a sea bath. There are plenty of spaces and it was not too crowded on the day we went. I went with the family, it is an amazing place for kids to play. Don't forget to bring extra clothes, you have the facility to change at the venue. Not too far from Hamilton City, just a one-hour drive. You can visit wonderful Bridal Vell Falls on the way back.

A remote beach which is great if you don't like the crowds. The beach is massive and pretty flat and the kids can dig in the sand and run around to their hearts content while parents can take a break.
At low tide there are two small caverns visible and if you're fascinated by rock formations, then the rock face is layered with different types which date back millions of years.

Brilliant ride with Wayne and River. Horses are well looked after and suited to all level of riders. Incredible scenery as you ride through the farm down to the beach, and you can’t beat a canter along the black sand of Ruapuke. Highly recommend a ride with these guys, whether you’re a total newbie or more experienced.

Around a 15 minute drive from Manu Bay up a winding dirt road round some hairpin corners you are rewarded with stunning views.
The lookout car park is not very big and was full of what must have been trampers cars.
The lookout platform is maybe 100m from the carpark and offers stunning views up the Coast. It is a sheer drop underneath so not for the those scared of heights. You can also walk down the hill a bit with more views. Definitely worth the drive out!

Nice place to go for lunch and a stroll along the wharf, looking in the pottery shop and leather shop. If you are a fisherman this is a great place to chuck a line in.

The track is steep at the beginning and well marked. The track is easy to follow and there are lots of rocks to clamber over. There is a section where there are chains and a steep ladder to connect the track. There is another section where there is a chain that goes up about 30 metres. I would suggest going with at least one other able person but otherwise it's adventurous!

We enjoyed sitting here in our picnic rug watching the surfers and the sun going down over the hill yo our left. It was a nice way to spend an hour with a glass of wine.

Fantastic weather on the day. Makes a huge difference. Great stalls - inside & outside. Food fresh & authentic. I bought some crafts from a couple of stalls. I loved the soap, creams & balms. The woodwork is exceptional. Friendly, 'Raglan vibe'.
