Farma of Rhodes Rhodes
#1 of 5 Zoos & Aquariums in South Aegean
Superb farm/zoo animals look well cared for and happy.
It is a small place so if your used to the larger zoos you may be disappointed but its fab for kids as they can feed and touch the animals.
Aquarium Of Faliraki (Aquaworld) Faliraki
#2 of 5 Zoos & Aquariums in South Aegean
A must go!!! Good value and great staff to help with questions you had about the aquarium and sea creatures
There were a few interesting species and was great to see sea urchins and starfish for example up close in detail which other aquariums don't!
Hydrobiological Station of Rhodes Rhodes Town
#3 of 5 Zoos & Aquariums in South Aegean
One of the things worth doing is visiting the aquarium where for around a fiver (pounds) you can visit the entire exhibit area and their museum area.
A great place to visit with well kept aquariums and pretty good information.
Kini Aquarium Kini
#4 of 5 Zoos & Aquariums in South Aegean
The types of fish in the aquarium are very common in the Mediterranean seas, however it was nice to see them up close and read about each kind.
About 12 aquariums, lightscreens, exhibition of shipwracks with piece of history, definitely worth for that 2€.
Old Town Aquarium Rhodes Town
#5 of 5 Zoos & Aquariums in South Aegean
Whilst only a small aquarium on the beach front, there's a surprising variety of fish inside, it was very reasonably priced and also offered a museum with the history of aquatic life in the area.
The aquarium is located right at the very tip of the island on it's own and although it looks small from the outside there is plenty to see once inside and it's worth every bit of the 6 euro entry price.
