not a bad shopping centre you can get most basic things. it's not a big supermarket, but its much cheaper than buying from resorts

Mokusiga beer is a fantastic beer from a lovely spot. Visit the Beachouse, discover the best little resort in Fiji and probably the only one in the world with a brewery on site.
Sitting at the beach watching a stunning sunset with a cold Mokusiga in hand - Paradise!

Mala welcomed us to a really well appointed unassuming surf shop 5 minutes outside of Denarau on the road in, stocking wax, fin keys (no fins), legropes, tail pads and even soft roof racks. They also had ding kits and a bunch of other bits that support your surf trip. The really cool thing was a bunch of local T shirts and hats for sale, supporting local boardrider clubs (a percentage of these sales support the clubs). Mala was fantastic and made great ice coffee and chocolate. My wife and one of my daughters also found some beautiful pieces from locally made product supporting local women. Overall it was a great experience. We’ll be back for cocktails (our visit was morning coffee time).

Endless summer surf school was the highlight of my stay in Fiji and to top it off, the Beachouse is a slice of paradise with amazing staff and great vibes. If you’re a beginner surfer, Bruce is your guy! One of the blokes was falling off his board paddling before we even hit the waves but Bruce had him standing up before the lesson was over and with a huge smile on his face of course! Do yourself a favor and join an endless summer surf lesson. It’ll be the highlight of your stay in Fiji too.

Mosese runs these tours and has renamed things Eden Biodiversity Park and Educational Marine Tours Fiji...bit of a mouthful but same person in the same area. We only did the marine side of these tours and two snorkeling trips in the Lagoon next to the Naviti hotel. He is a lovely guy and knowledgeable about the marine environment. Time keeping is a touch relaxed (but so is most of Fiji) so make sure you check and you want to be doing these trips 40 mins or so either side of the high tide...so plan ahead. Don't just go and head into the lagoon on your own...the shoreline and surrounding areas are owned by the village. So do the right thing and go and see Mosese (Moses) and put some money into the local economy.
