Henry was a great guide. Trip was value for money and beach picnic was tasty and ample. Kayak was about 2.5 hrs, reasonable pace, the group were all competent. Walk back took slightly longer but great way to explore national park from water and land. Slept well after day's activities!

They are amazing! Naya, our guide, was so lovely and she taught us a lot about the local wildlife and the history of the park. Due to a storm, our Ferry was delayed and they changed our booking without any problem. I would recommend them to everyone. You won't regret it!

A great day in Abel Tasman. Good easy morning walk up the coastal track. Rain at lunch disappeared once we got out on the water. A delightful afternoon kayak with guide Pandi who took us along the coast. The highlight was the group of baby seals frolicking by an island. They were still young enough to be curious about humans and swam back and forth only a handful of meters away. Unforgettable.

We enjoyed our kayak tour with four other people. Quinn was a helpful and informative guide who managed changing weather very well and also helped other kayakers and hikers. Wear shorts/ swimwear as you will get wet. Bring a bag/ backpack with towel and dry clothes- this will go in the kayak’s watertight hatch.

Awesome day of kyaking with small group & our guide Jordan.
He had not been guiding at Abel Tasman Kyaks much more than 3mths, but without a doublt he knows his stuff & even ALL the local points if interest. He is professional an seasoned veteran . Very attentive to all needs & abillities.
Not had to recomend thus as a must do if you want to how NZ used to be, prime untouched, golden sand water.
Perfect weather *29 C made for a perfect day for all, incleding 2 teenage boys.
A nice workout with plenty of rewards at many bays from Arwaroa down to Barks bay, with serveral swims & lunch along the way.
10/10 Jordan - keep doing what you do, a real credit to the Team at Abel Tasman kyaks!!!

Had a fantastic day with these guys. Tayla was a great guide. Lots of fun and knowledge. Loved the little detours through caves and awesome little bays. The sea lions were fun too!

An excellent way to fit 2 activities into a day and see a fair bit of the Abel Tasman national park! Our guide Brody was full of information and made for a very safe and enjoyable 2/3hr paddle. Lunch provided was delicious. The walking section is beautiful and easy to complete in the time provided. All very well organised and worth the money!

We were out all day, exploring the coast with Rod, our Skipper. Nice sized boat but small group of fellow travelers. Rod explained much of the local area, was personable and a lot of fun. We made several stops and went ashore at several various beaches, took a short hike, had many laughs, and were treated to an excellent lunch. Highly recommended

Our kayak adventure with Able Tasman Kayaks was well managed from beginning to end. Every staff member from was friendly, helpful and efficient but Mitchell, our guide, was amazing. His ability to anticipate our needs, keep to the schedule, to provide the details we needed, to make the necessary adjustments (on the third day he provided us with a walking option that was very satifying) and to prepare healthy, delicious meals and snacks for up to 10 of us was truly amazing. The campsites were set up for us and we even had air mattresses. We are not strong paddlers so a kayak/walk/kayak may have been a better choice for us as the waves and headwind around a couple of of the points were hard but Mitchell made it work for us. Thank you Mitchell! I highly recommend Abel Tasman Kayaks for an adventure in a stunningly beautiful place.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Would do it again in a heartbeat! The service we received was excellent and all the staff were wonderfully welcoming. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed both the hike and the kayaking and could not decide which of the many highlights of this day, was our favorite. The scenery is just gorgeous! I can highly recommend Abel Tasman Kayaks. Thank you, Jack and Mitchell, for making this a truly unforgettable day.

Beautiful scenery, great guides. Full day of sea kayaking with several stops on beaches for snack and bathroom breaks and lunch. It was windy and the water was very rough so we weren't able to go as far north as is advertised for this tour. Still it was worth it. Very well organized and instructions were provided. Be advised that launching and landing kayaks were done by the kayakers, not by the guides, so some experience would be helpful. We were fortunate to see kakas fly over twice (rare parrots that have been reintroduced into the national p) and it was gratifying to see how excited the guides were about seeing them. Guides provided excellent information about the park and the ongoing environmental restoration activities. Lunch was very good.
