Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well worth a visit. We booked online a shuttle up to the viewpoint. Quick trip but was very plenty of time to wind up the steep hills to get there and battle the selfie crowd taking photos at the edge. Magnificent views and great photo op.
    Recommend.

Take this road instead of the 25 km tunnel
Much more to see and fresh air to enjoy
Many stops along the way to watch the fjord the cascades the forests
It was cold about 9 degrees but this road is one of the many beautiful roads in Norway

We enjoyed a simple picnic here with things like fresh cherry tomatoes, reindeer heart, sausages, cheese, bread, coffee, and apple soda. It was not very filling, so it was more about the experience of trying local bites with a beautiful fjord view.

No one knows building tunnels better than Norway it seems. Tunnel is fairly well lit and one can drive smoothly through it.

I took a run and passed this church. It looked like there were gravestones in the yard and people were wandering about. It looks very old.

This place is amazing due to the way to get there and panoramic views but understandably not possible to see i guess due to Covid, anyway I admire people working with land and animal care and I would say-keep on, we respect people like you!

This church, at the center of Aurlandsvangen, is cute and the gardens are very well managed. You can hardly feel in a graveyard. Unfortunately it was closed due to covid.

Ten minute drive from flam, you find the distinctive and beautiful village of Undredal. Home to true Norwegian traditions . Gorgeous stream, Lovely Flowers, Lovely Rest Area. Unique experience at no cost.

We were not able to go inside this tiny church (and the private tours were quite pricey, relatively speaking), but from what we can tell, the building was quite altered from the original. Very quaint and picturesque from the outside!

We drove here, but most walk which would be much nicer. The church is picturesque along the fjord. There really isn't much else in Bakka, so don't come expecting to do much else.

If you are biking or hiking from Myrdal to Flam (21 km downhill) you will pass this goat farm which is open only in the summer. The location is beautiful and the cheese is great - especially the brown cheese. Highly recommended to stop here for a short break.
