Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a lovely beach to take a stroll, breathe in the fresh ocean air, and just take it all in. The beach is clean, quiet, and well manicured. Parking was not difficult and people were happy to be there.

A wetland and adjoining estuary with lots going on. A full range of wetland birds observable. Good paths with good interpretation.

Great links course, a must play when visiting Wellington. Quality finish on the fairways, greens and beautiful lined bunkers. Greens runs quick as any high quality grounds with eye catching landscape. The Wellington winds provide an added challenge but you won’t be disappointed. Proshop was welcoming, friendly members, and very helpful with way finding if it’s your first time visiting.

This trail is easy and you can have a relaxing and comfortable walk in 2 hours. There are quite a lot of blackberry along. I won't say the view would be very special but I still enjoyed the walk pretty much.
No dogs are allowed for this trail.

The path through Paraparaumu is along the waterfront and is a good quality walking and cycling trail. It heads South to Raumati and will link up with a number of other paths in the area. It is a great spot to watch the sunset.

I had a wonderful time. The island is beautiful, the guides are knowledgeable and friendly and the food for the overnight stay was great!

Great day out, we were very lucky with the weather and had sun & cloud from 9.30-3.30. Saw many rare NZ birds and heard many more. Guide gave a talk at the start that was enthusiastic and informative. Two trails to the top, we took the harder, steeper one to the left, our 26 year old sun and his girlfriend flew up it, but the wife and me found it tough. But we got to the top and celebrated getting there! On the way back we saw southern right whales, dolphins and an albatross that put the gloss on a lovely day.

What a stunning location! I was lucky enough to be taken up for an aerobatic flight with my mate as the pilot. We did aerobatic manoeuvres over the beautiful Kapiti Island and then cruised up the coast. The plane was terrific and comfortable, an awesome trip!
