Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Only used as a stopover, everything as should be. Even let us use orangery to store bikes overnight.

The keep is massively impressive from the outside, in spite of the inappropriate 19th century battlements; it was also, somewhat to my surprise, equally impressive inside. There's a big grand vaulted ground floor room, but what's really striking is the immensely tall first floor hall (also stone vaulted) - maybe 60 feet high, and really quite a sight. The quality of stonework is excellent, and anyone who appreciates Romanesque secular architecture should try to see this. One can make good comparisons with Orford in Suffolk, Newcastle keep, Dover keep, Conisbrough keep or - not far from Pons - the ruined but enormous tour de Broue, evocatively placed above a great marsh. This keep is attractively presented. Don't stint.

We visited in June. Elodie returned my phone call and we visited the next afternoon. It was very friendly and welcoming and informative. Being a family run business everyone visiting was treated as special and no pressure was put on us to buy the products. We did buy some and I can say without reservation the white wine is superb. We've not tried the others yet. We'll be back

We had just one day to explore in Pons and that was a day when the Hopital was closed. However, it was possible to see all the 'graffiti' left by pilgrims on the walls outside. There is also a wonderful piece of sculpture on a roundabout near the hospital of pilgrims pleased to have arrived. Pons is a lovely peaceful town.

This was listed on the leaflet we had been given and we were able to find it easily. Small Catholic church with a calm interior.

Any town I visit I go the the tourist information and pick up a paper map, and yes, they still exist. The tourist information is not in the building shown on the picture, but across from it in the Donjon tower. Person working there very helpful, I tried my French but he quickly switched to English and gave me the english map, pointing out that the map is oudated and the tourist office is not on the spot the map indicated. I also wanted the french language map, he hesitated but did give it to me as well. The map gives you a historic walking tour which is definitely worth doing.

Completely "out there" in terms of a novel experience. Worried initially before booking that our poor grasp of the french language might be an issue - but the guys responded immediately with 'pas problem' everyone is welcome. We didn't look back. Our guide was so attentive, friendly and accommodating. His multi lingual skills were fabulous and between us both we managed to complete the puzzle. The puzzle itself was so very hard!! Between us ( 2 adults, 16 ans et 13 ans) omg! it was tough - but so very enjoyable.
Definetly recommend. We choose chambre 2 - I understand there are 2 rooms. So choices to make - but the online support and the help during the session - make the whole experience very worthwhile and memorable.
Afterwards you can explore the beuatiful gardens of the Chateau des Enigmes:) Look out for the tree house!!
Thank you guys!!! We'll recommend to our friends.

Not that easy to find it with my GPS.
The products are tasty and when you read the recipe, it is quality !
Bags are ideal for some presents to bring to colleagues or taste them during a pause.
