Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We're into history (recording and digitising in Hawke's Bay) and were keen to see how Te Hikoi stood up to the hype. Not disappointed! This museum is really very, very good - their displays are top notch, the movie is high quality, and the items on display meet every emotion for the viewer. We spent much more time here than expected - overall somewhere around 2 - 3 hours. We all highly recommend it to anyone visiting Riverton/Invercargill and the deep south

We were camping and spent the night here by the sea. Woke up and had breakfast watching the waves. A beautiful start to the day.

We were lucky, we arrived just as a large group turned up for a pre arranged demonstration. Other have suggested ringing before you turn up. We saw a demo of the flax mill working and a tour of the small museum. Has toilets. Interesting as we knew nothing about flax milling.

This is such a nice place to hang out. Great baches with lots of stoes to look for colours on. Great views out across the Straight. Best of all its free, bought to you by the Southland District Council

Mores Scenic Reserve is the starting point for three short but scenic hiking tracks: Mores Coastal Loop Track, Kings Track and the Hilltop Trail. Walk the trails to see Riverton's back beach and famous balancing rock. In the carpark, there's a scenic viewpoint overlooking the town of Riverton. It's also a popular picnic spot, complete with a long drop toilet, rubbish bin and picnic table.
