Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great value for money. At only $5 p/p for the nostalgic Victorian mineral bath house what a bargain!!!
Friendly staff. Amazing spa pool. Highly recommend!

Very knowledgable people who are also very helpful. Can do almost anything, while also having tourist type items for sale.

We noticed the sculptures well before we knew anything about them, and thought they were a fantastic way to celebrate the cycling possibilities from Te Aroha. Then when we had lunch at Ironique and saw all the lovely furnishings there we realised there was a theme emerging, and finally learnt about Adrian Worsley and his work. Beautiful stuff.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed meandering down the quiet waters of the Waihou. Matt was the perfect host. It was lovely meeting othets in our tour. Would recommend this activity. Not strenuous and very easy.
