Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Murat DNice, France127 contributionsSicily is beautiful any time of year. I visited towards the end of the high season, when things were much calmer - just the way I like it.Written 11 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Guy DBrakel, Belgium96 contributionsWe visited this beach on a sunny Saturday in September. Although quite famous, there were not a lot of people. There is no shadow, and without any protection, it is very hot near the rocks. The water is pleasant, but this is not the best place for snorkeling.Written 18 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Instantravel1Vonore, TN151 contributionsAt first we met Alfredo and he guided us thru his wine making process. Next we joined another 2 couples for the lunch and tasting. His local products went very well with his selections of wines.

- christina2 contributionsPrior to going there, I contacted the beach club on Instagram to inquire about making a reservation for chairs and an umbrella on the beach for that day, to which they responded they do not accept reservations, but that there were still spaces available. Immediately after this communication, we decided that was assurance enough to make the 25 minute walk (in 40° heat) from our air bnb, just to be told at the entrance that they were full and only had space in the ‘zone rilazata’ which was basically grass / shady areas away from the actual beach where we would not be able to keep an eye on our belongings from the beach. I’m not sure why we were misled to believe what we wanted was available, but after this disappointment we decided to leave and enjoy a free public beach instead, where we found shade and a spot to lay our towels down (Porto Rosso)
If you’re like us and are travelling without chairs and an umbrella, and have limited time to spend at the beach, beach clubs are a wonderful option to rent those things, but that is heavily dependent on good communication with the beach club, and unfortunately we did not get that at Cala Paradiso. Save your money and try another place !Written 25 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was quite horrible having to drive through it every time we wanted to get in or out of the hotel area.Written 14 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
