- chickabee5 contributionsDon't let age or inexperience stop you from booking this trip. From the moment you are picked up in Flaxmill Bay you are looked after. I am in my early 60s. Had never been sailing before. No issues getting on and off board. A wonderful hot proper coffee, chances to take the helm, beautiful scenery to see, historical info was shared and we were offered a chance to swim at Cathedral Cove. Safety procedures were top notch. A very relaxing experience on super comfy bean bags...there's even a toilet on board. I would recommend to everyone. Gavin was very informative on the journey and negotiated the gravel road with expertise. - David PHunchy, Australia22 contributionsHad a great day starting with a 10 klm walk along the Coromandel Coastal path from Fletcher’s Bay. Stunning scenery, beautiful weather very quiet and peaceful
Came back to Fletcher’s Bay for a cup of tea and something to eat. Then onto the bike ride 38 klm gravel road ride to Colville.
The ride hugs the coastline with fantastic ocean views and beautiful scenery. Very few vehicles on the road.
The e-bikes provided were comfortable and powerful which made it an easy ride.

They were calm reassuring and provided great guidance for experienced and beginner kayakers alike.
Knowledge of the local area and features as well as being mindful of the weather and conditions was a focus of the trip.

The Driving Creek Railway is a quirky bit of fun and the Hot Water Beach will almost burn your feet. Our driver has shown us a lot of beautiful place. The diverse nature was so great. And the knowledge of our driver added so much value for us. He’s one of a million, a true friend.
It makes a journey we wil never forget.
