Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Safari20105928046Palmerston North, New Zealand5 contributionsVery welcoming atmosphere, the choosing of your own snack to go with your wine tasting a great way to start and of course meant nothing you don't like on your platter, great choice of cheeses, meats, crackers, their own bread - fresh and conserves/chutneys. The wines, well so hard to choose, from their bubbles to the many stickies, through red, whites and rose, a huge selection (they grow 17 varieties of grape!!!). I would certainly advise a few hours out of your day to visit Andrea and the team on a lazy Sunday.
Note for Management: Do feel for the Staff a little, if there is a wait for the toilets, they have to slip between people to access their guests, and as I hate to put my bag on the ground in the toilets it would be great to have a hook on the back of the door!Written 16 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Even a modest budget (like mine) can still see you taking home a delightful piece to add to your collection (again, like mine), or as a one-of-a-kind gift for a special someone.
Keeping Annette’s ceramics company is colourful contemporary art by her husband Natham Crossan. His paintings made me wish for more wall space in my little house!
We didn’t get to meet Annette as she was away, but Natham was an excellent host, happy to open the doors for us on a Sunday afternoon, and proudly showing off his wife’s wares. He’ll tell you about all of her processes and the meaning behind them. Ask them about the rice bubbles and the staples!
The peaceful country setting – you’re actually visiting a paddock-bound gallery – is the perfect spot for a bit of retail therapy. But these artists are far from being put out to pasture!Written 21 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It had been a while since I'd been on a horse, but the experience was incredibly enjoyable. Dzidra and her horses were incredibly gentle and well-trained, making the ride both relaxing and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to practice Natural Horsemanship and connect with the horses. The ride along the beach, with its stunning scenery, was a highlight. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking a unique and memorable adventure.Written 7 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
