The views were stunning, and the spotify playlist also made the road trip go quickly. Our tour guide Dayton had some cool facts + history of everywhere we went, and we loved learning about NZ’s culture with some cute little stops along the way. - Tiff APerth, Australia6 contributionsThe best day ever. The Mt Cook Tour and Ultimate Alpine Experience was amazing. Worth every cent for such an awesome experience. Every stop on the tour was a winner. Dayton is the perfect guide. He is passionate about the outdoors and has a friendly, caring and respectful manner. There was a diverse range of ages, nationalities and fitness levels in the group today and Dayton treated us all with genuine kindness and respect. The playlists were a great soundtrack to the day. His commentary was entertaining and well researched. Deer wars and Shrek are but two of his tales worth tuning in to. We stopped at some amazing places for a photo as well as longer stops for lunch, a drink, etc. He even fit in an extra stop as we had a bit of time.
Would highly recommend any tour with Remarkable Scenic Tours and we look forward to revisiting NZ and going on another tour. - Shayne HCessnock, Australia8 contributionsAn excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and supplemented the tour commentary with good local insight. It was a nice mix of Cultural Heritage and Natural Heritage. The stop at the gold mining museum was fantastic, we were given the history of the local gold industry from a person involved directly in mining. The old but still working equipment displays were great to see and we then spent some time panning for gold after some good instruction.

This was something I booked on the day at the centre (it was quite) as I’d been discouraged from booking the experience online due to the min height requirement (165 cm I’m 152 cm). Happy I asked about it.
