We tried a lot of great wines throughout the day and had a lot of laughs. We really enjoyed the whole day out. We loved everything, from chatting with Mark in the car to biking along the beautiful river path to stopping at multiple wineries with great wines and great views. Mark said that this tour was a unique combination of fantastic biking and fantastic wines and we couldn’t agree more! Despite being self guided Mark provides great instructions on where to go. As part of our Honeymoon, we had the most amazing day with Bob, his passion for the region, its Wines and his fabulous Mercedes made this NO ordinary Wine Tour! we were not just taken to the well-known Vineyards instead, we were treated to some wonderful boutique Vineyards where we experienced not only the tastings but met the Wine Makers themselves and it was fascinating hearing their own individual stories, it gave us a whole new appreciation and education of the entire process.
My husband was a Whiskey only man prior to this and now has been converted!

We hit snow and were able to get out in it!! Te Kano wines, a food & wine flight for lunch was feastly cozy and last stop was Scotts Base. Couldnt have asked for a better private tour of the region. From the comfortable/luxury van, & Luwis being so knowlegeable & sharing interesting information throughout the trip.... to the stunning scenery along the way, and visiting a variety of lovely vineyards...and the delicious wine & food was some of the best I've ever had!!

For me, seeing wine types produced in Otago, was something really new. So, I have many questions and the tour guide was patient and happy to answer my questions and I appreciate that. The wineries in and around Otago are spectacular and I tasted some really nice wines during this tour.
