What an amazing way to experience the glow worm caves. Great experience in Auckland! Our guide was so nice, caring and knowledgable. He introduced every viewpoint when we pass through each town. Just like having a lesson through the journey. After that, we arrived to the Spellbound glowworm & cave tours. The guide introduced the formation of stone and cave for us. Both of the cave and glowworm were stunning! He interacted in a way which interested people of all ages, he had a lovely sense of humour and was very accommodating to the range of fitness levels within the group. We had a great day and my friend from the UK was most impressed too. The ability to customize our day was great! He was very professional, but personal. The car was beautiful and stocked with water and snacks! John, our driver, gave us lots of information about NZ and answered all our questions. John also gave me lots of tips for my stay in Rotorua. I would definitely recommend. - Kelly W2 contributionsMy boyfriend and I took this day trip with Experience Kart to the Waitomo Glowworm and Ruakuri Twin Cave. We have been driving all around the North Island and wanted to give my boyfriend a break from driving. The pickup and drop off from our hotel in central Auckland was smooth and the drive to the cave was relaxing in the van. Our driver and tour guide, Karthik, gave a great tour with fun little tidbits of New Zealand.
The glowworm cave itself was amazing, but the addition of the Ruakuri Cave made the drive worth it. Hermes shows us every beautiful scenery while on our way. Something interesting about diary cows and sheep and the nature. Edson takes us to the Waitomo trip and drive us back to Auckland. Waitomo is something you never want to miss. We also visit a dam somewhere in the nearby town, which is so beautiful!
