What travellers are saying
- Kevin BMount Juliet, TN2,325 contributionsFull disclosure, I'm a Yankees fan. However, my wife and I love all things baseball and our goal is to visit all of the ballparks. Citi Field was our 15th park and it's honestly a great ballpark. Getting here was super easy and the subway brings you right outside the park. We came for a Mets-Yankees game and it was a really fun atmosphere, lots of heckling, but no fights and just a good, fun rivalry. Drinks were great and they have lots of options, which was a good thing since we had a rain delay and had time to kill. The real standout here was the food and this was some of the best ballpark food we've experienced. My wife loved her lobster roll and I absolutely loved my porchetta sandwich. Ours views of the game were also great and it's a very nice ballpark overall!Written 25 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Garth WTrincity, Trinidad1 contributionMy stay was really pleasant. I particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. They were genuine and willing to help. They made me feel at home. I also was fortunate to get a room with a view and I really enjoyed that very much.Written 13 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ellie AxterWorld7 contributionsI’d say this was a very cool museum. Fun exhibits, good for kids, hilarious muppet exhibition that got us all cracking up laughing. Lots of info, very well done. I’d say the only downside was the gift shop, which was quite disappointing. Would 100% recommend!Written 29 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Boyd JMaleny, Australia1,688 contributionsWe were on a tour and stopped for about 15 minutes - enough time for some photos at the Unisphere. Installed in 1964 for the World Fair it has also featured in 'Men in Black' and 'Men in Black III'.Written 22 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Reka RNew York City, NY6 contributionsOur guide, Daisy, was awesome. She was informative, relatable and full of fun and evocative details about Armstrong’s life, which she conveyed with knowledge and enthusiasm. She also spoke with clarity, which we appreciated since one of us is hearing-impaired. Both the exhibit and the tour give a good sense of Louis Armstrong the man, as well as his life in historical and cultural context. Kudos to the museum and staff!Written 20 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- M&JRFort Worth, TX891 contributionsLovely park in Astoria, NY. I was born in Astoria (50’s) and have great memories of visiting the park in the ‘60’s with family and friends, which was 50 or so years ago. We played software, ran track, and picnicked. This time my son, grandson, cousin (local native) and I visited from out of state. The park was still lovely and the views still incredible from the river. We had to watch my grandson intensely making sure he didn’t pick up anything that could pierce his skin as certain areas were trashed. Also, he used the public restroom. Thank goodness my son (size of a linebacker) went into the stall with him. My son was street smart, my grandson wasn’t.Written 12 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Allan SNew York City, NY6,483 contributionsI ine here every few years for a break from a hectic world. I sit in their extensive statue garden that is a refuge from a busy New York. There are numerous beaches not only in the garden but throughout the museum.
They also have a lovely gift shop

- Anna PBrooklyn, NY45 contributionsMy family and I went to Rockaway Beach in July 2023. We were there on a Thursday. After looking for about 5 minutes we were able to find street parking a block or two away from the beach. (There is a free public parking on 95th street which was completely full by 11 a.m. on a Thursday. )
We settled near Beach 97-98th street on the beach. While the location was convenient due to a public bathroom and a couple of food places nearby, we were right by the lifeguard’s seat at the beach. The lifeguard was constantly blowing his whistle throughout the day trying to keep the beachgoers safe and steer them off the rocks, other danger.
I would come back to the Rockaway Beach, only this time I would settle further away from the lifeguard’s tower if I could.Written 22 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nigel WOdense, Denmark622 contributionsIt is well worth taking a trip to Long Island City - combine a visit to MoMA PS1 with a walk around the neighbourhood and soak in the to-die-for view of the Manhattan skyline. The museum is in the buildings of the first public school in New York (or the States? can't remember). Quirky, cutting-edge contemporary temporary exhibitions and mini 'interventions'. The cavernous, weathered building is as much a star as the exhibits in it.Written 10 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrea FChicago, IL284 contributionsWe had fun visiting the hall of science. Our son is only 3 so we did not see everything. He really enjoyed the mini golf, bubbles, and the preschool area. We hope to visit again when we have more time.Written 25 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
