We had a group of 8 people and just dropped in late in the afternoon, it didn't phase Ian at all. Met the 2 beautiful dogs and bought the mystery pack, and some other lovely wines. Perfect balance of every tourist activity brochure you could ask for (activities, wineries, skiing, Milford Sound, the list goes on) as well as a beautiful section of non touristy souvenirs. If you like quirky, mind-bending nonsense then this is the place for you.
The first room brings on instant nausea as your brain tries to make sense of what your eyes are seeing. We got a fit of the giggles that took ages to wear off, but this set us up for the rest.
I loved it all, but one of my favourite parts was the unnecessary inventions and the ridiculous inventions. I cannot even think about Baby Mop without laughing!
I really loved the Tim Christie rooms. It was a one on one which was great allowed time for a chat.
I was surprised to find that I did not prefer any of there wines
In fact I did my shopping over a glass of reisling and a delicious cheese board as I have limit to take back to Aus and as I wanted more than 3 bottles lol I chose to ship using the wine collective
But I also made a purchase to enjoy tonight
If In Wanaka I highly recommend a visit to this fantastic establishment

We didn’t achieve our goal, but not because of the contents of the galleries. There are a lot of pretty choices, I was especially drawn to a few glass blown vases.
WFAG is well located in the hub of downtown Wanaka and there’s street and surface lot parking nearby. This area contains, coffee shops, pharmacies, gear rental stores and restaurants.

But the thing we loved the most is the freshly baked cookies during the break with a hot cup of choco. Make sure to reserve them!
