Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very nice lady welcomed us at the meeting point and drove us to where the boat was located.
The jetboat drive was amazing and the views stunning! The guide told us everything about the mountains and the locations where lord of the rings was filmed. We made a break at some point and did a about 30min hike. We then headed back to the boat and from there back to where the shuttle was waiting and the lady drove us back to the starting point.
All in all a great half a day with great views and soo much fun on the jetboat with a lot of spins!!

One of my best experiences in New Zealand. The guide was fantastic and the scenery was out of this world. Also managed to see some weka birds on Pigeon Island which was a bonus

Lovely hike on a track through trees up the mountain with the sight and sound of waterfalls along the way. We had a small group of 4, luckily, and walked just over 16 km in around 5.5 hrs total trip. The walk was a steady rise with a few minor steep bits but nothing major. It was a there and back trek with a picnic halfway. The weather was kind and the scenery beautiful with some lovely waterfalls containing crystal clear water, stunning. Our guide, Jono, was extremely knowledgeable, not just about the route but also Māori cultural in general. He was good at checking in on how we were feeling, conscious of the return walk, giving options for us to choose on distance and highlighting time between toilets. Jono was a definite bonus.
This is not a walk for young children however there is the longer possibilities for those wanting to trek further. Routeburn Track provides different levels of challenge, you choose what you want. A great day out.

OMG. We had a perfect day for flying, hiking, and jet boating. The staff is wonderful and helpful for apprehensive travelers. Flight on 4 seater (1 pilot, 3 guests) was stunning (about 20 min). The pilot takes off from the office area (grass runway), narrates the flight into the valleys/mountains, and lands on a grassy area next to a stream. The walk/hike across the stream is less than 5 minutes - the level is dependent upon rain (it was over my knees, but I'm short). We arrived a day after heavy rain so it was quite fast and wide. You need water shoes/sandals (get at the office before the flight if you didn't bring them) and recommend hiking poles - it is slippery and the water was strong. Did I mention it is also COLD? The second adventure is hiking out - we are slow and it took us about 3 1/2 hours (counting a lunch stop). The first part is through a meadow-like area (gradual incline), 2nd part is in the forest and there are some steep parts (not long and not that steep), and the 3rd part is downhill to the water again (this was slippery and long; hiking sticks well worthwhile). You end up in a meadow-like area by the water. LOTS of sandflies!!! Then the jet boat comes (ours held 11 and the driver) and a cool ride until you get back to the starting area. You may get wet. This was our last excursion in NZ after 3 weeks and it was outstanding.

The Queenstown photo tour was an unforgettable experience. From the serene sunrise light over the lake to exhilarating drive through Skippers Canyon, every moment was picture perfect. I captured so many incredible shots and made lasting memories. Queenstown is truly a photographer's paradise, especially for those who love landscape photography. Thank you!

We utterly enjoyed our walk with Lloyd's expert guidance. Lloyd knows the country like the back of his hand and shared all the interesting history of the land, vegetation and the township. Never a dull moment and not forgetting the breathtaking lunch spot we were treated to! The natural beauty of NZ is unbeatable and we were totally in awe. Thank you for a memorable day!
