Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a fantastic trip with Andre up the Dart River! Andre was a great guide and really made the trip enjoyable for us! It was fantastic to experience the national park from the river as well as having a bit of fun on the jetboats! This was definitely a highlight of our time in Queenstown and Glenorchy!

What an amazing experience I had with my fab friend Shelley. We had such a great time. This was on my bucket list which has become extremely important to me since being given a terminal cancer diagnosis a month ago. A must do regardless of your personal circumstances.

Wonderful day guided by Belinda, who picked us up at our hotel and drove us through stunning scenery to a lovely hike on Routeburn Track. Walked through delightful forest where we had lunch by the emerald green river with mountains in the background. Belinda was very knowledgeable and a fine conversationalist as well. Terrific day, highly recommended!

Fabulous day out with Wanaka WaterTaxi's- Tony was a great guide, lots of information and easy to talk to. The views from the tour are amazing, lots of photo opportunities (and he was very patient and happy to stop on request). Warming soup for a picnic lunch on a cold day.

This is a very well run operation that cares about your ability to view the fabulous sights and above all about your safety. We had to reschedule our booking due to bad weather and they worked to get us onto a flight the next day. The equipment is excellent and the pilot pointed out all the sights and maneuvered the plane so that everyone was able to get photos and a great view. Definitely the way to view this fantastic terrain.

OMG. We had a perfect day for flying, hiking, and jet boating. The staff is wonderful and helpful for apprehensive travelers. Flight on 4 seater (1 pilot, 3 guests) was stunning (about 20 min). The pilot takes off from the office area (grass runway), narrates the flight into the valleys/mountains, and lands on a grassy area next to a stream. The walk/hike across the stream is less than 5 minutes - the level is dependent upon rain (it was over my knees, but I'm short). We arrived a day after heavy rain so it was quite fast and wide. You need water shoes/sandals (get at the office before the flight if you didn't bring them) and recommend hiking poles - it is slippery and the water was strong. Did I mention it is also COLD? The second adventure is hiking out - we are slow and it took us about 3 1/2 hours (counting a lunch stop). The first part is through a meadow-like area (gradual incline), 2nd part is in the forest and there are some steep parts (not long and not that steep), and the 3rd part is downhill to the water again (this was slippery and long; hiking sticks well worthwhile). You end up in a meadow-like area by the water. LOTS of sandflies!!! Then the jet boat comes (ours held 11 and the driver) and a cool ride until you get back to the starting area. You may get wet. This was our last excursion in NZ after 3 weeks and it was outstanding.

Great day out with the Private Wanaka and Arrowtown tour. Wayne was an amazing host, telling us all about the areas we drove through. We stopped at some amazing places for a photo as well as longer stops for lunch, a drink, etc. He even fit in an extra stop as we had a bit of time.
Would highly recommend any tour with Remarkable Scenic Tours and we look forward to revisiting NZ and going on another tour. Thanks again Wayne!!

We went to Glenorchy and Skippers in New Zealand on 6th Feb 2024. This we did from our hotel in Queenstown. It was around 7 hours of photography tour and we loved every bit of it. Skippers and Glenorchy are in opposite directions from Queenstown and the landscape in both these places is also different from one another. Skippers has rugged , canyon like landscape and Glenorchy is lakes, meadows, hills (typical of South island) . Road to Glenorchy has several super beautiful places where you will be compelled to take snaps. The scenery is so amazing that we can't believe we went to those places when we look at the photos today. We went halfway towards Paradise from Glenorchy and out there was a place where we found just us and sheep and beautiful landscape and fresh air.

Our Tour Guide Aistl is very joyful, talkative, knowledgeable and helpful. She treated Me and My wife like old friends. We had one of the most enjoyable times with her on the 20 day New Zealand and Australia Trip. She called us a day in advance and confirmed the participation. Then she asked us where we wish to travel from Queenstown. She recommended Skippers for its different landscape. In Skippers she took us to those scenic hill tops and herself walked to a nearby hill top (actually top of a canyon) walking in her flip flops and took several wonderful photos using our camera. My wife wanted to drive the car in NZ (she has an INTL license) and Aistl gladly obliged. Aistl would not let a moment of boredom come with her interesting stories about life in NZ, her home country and our own culture. It was fun filled 7-8 hrs with her with several photographs. We would certainly recommend this tour for the guide and the different scenary

We recently used Joe from WanaHaka
To surprise our daughter and new son in law on their very special day. The wedding guests were a mix of both Kiwis and Aussies. This experience was very well received. Both bride and groom loved it. We all loved and learned so much. Joe explained every meaning/translation. Whaikorero-opening/greeting
    Wero- challenge
    Mana-spirit of person/prestige
    Kia-Kaha -stand/be strong Etc
We would highly recommend Joe for any occasion.
Thank you so much Joe for adding a breathtaking performance to this very precious day.

We will remember this for ever xo
    Respect..
