Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- 392domenical6 contributionsThis was the best off the 3 cruises we had in Fiji.
The crew were fantastic the whole time.
They stopped at a sand bar reef which was the greatest snorkelling I have done. I have snorkelled Hawaii and Vanuatu and this was the clearest waters I have seen.
Second stop was at another pristine bay and then we went to the island that Castaway was filmed on for lunch and more swimming.
Lots to eat , lots to see
You wont be disappointed, as it is a family business and your number one on there list.
Cant wait to get back
Cruisin Fiji is the best day tripWritten 16 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - paulbricklebankTaupo, New Zealand5 contributionsFamily of four including a 10 year old and 8 year old.
Amazing day. Beautiful cruise, great snorkelling and delicious food. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond looking after us and our 8 year old boy while snorkelling.
Great value- especially with the snacks, bbq lunch and all drinks provided.
Highly recommended.Written 13 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Lauren H1 contributionI would 110% recommend Blue Lagoon Cruises to anyone who wants to explore Fiji.
I did the 7 day cruise which included Mamanucas and Yasawa islands.
Everyday was scheduled with lots of optional activities and excursions!
Some of these activities included:
- snorkelling, fishing, kayaking, volleyball, water aerobics, hiking, culture night and more!
Some of the excursions included:
- Modriki island which is where the movie Cast Away was filmed. Here we caught a gorgeous sun-rise and were able to have a swim.
- Swimming in the Sawa-I-Lau Caves.
- Visit to remote villages, giving you the opportunity to meet the locals, see their schools, attend church service, and shell markets.
- Swimming with Reef sharks. There was also an option to go in the glass bottom boat if swimming wasn’t your thing.
- Spend the day at Malamala Beach club.
- Kava Ceremony.
And much more!
The food was delicious! Every morning was a buffet for breakfast including cooked and continental options. Lunch was always a buffet style too. Dinners were different each night following a specific theme eg Bollywood night - Indian food.
All of the crew were absolutely amazing! They were so welcoming and friendly! You could tell they were all so passionate about their culture, and what they do. They went above and beyond to get to know guests and give them the best experience! They would often play live music and sing which was always great to listen to as they were all so talented.
There was several children on our cruise and staff were brilliant with them! And always had something going on for kids!
I went as a solo traveler and I had the best time! The cruise had around 50 guests which was a great size. I got to know some lovely people and made so many friends. You felt as though everyone was one big family by the end of the cruise.
I genuinely loved every second of this cruise and didn’t want the holiday to end!
I’ll treasure the memories I made on this cruise.
Thanks again to all of the crew for making this incredible trip!Written 22 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The hosts were so much fun and took the younger kids out kayaking while the adults were snorkelling. The food and drinks were great. Honestly cannot speak highly enough about this cruise.Written 9 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
