We have been to a number of museums that dealt with older history, but this museum was the first to really help you see the beginning and the effects of the industrial revolution in the U.S. Highly recommend.
As a teacher, parent and person interested in history, I found the museum one of the best interactive museums I've ever visited.

We spent several hours here admiring and studying the wonderful historical and contemporary quilts on display in the Museum collection.
I would greatly recommend the Lowell Quilt Museum --- hopefully they are open during the Lowell Folk Festival --- this is absolutely a must see!!!
