Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain23,886 contributionsVela Spila is a natural cave located in the surroundings of Vela Luka, a town in Korčula Island, in Dalmatia Region. It is a natural place, where people in ancestral ages lived. In fact, it is a big cave with natural holes at top. We could visit and enter to the first stage of the cave. From here you can see very nice views of the sea and surroundings and learn a bit about ancestral humans. Very interesting and curious place.Written 14 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Heidi MCopenhagen, Denmark4 contributionsVery nice and new Marina. We were in Vela Luca 2 years ago and was happily surprised by the new marina. There is a bar, restaurant, showers and toilets and we could use the pool on the nearby hotel. Bakery and super market are close to the marina.Written 26 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cricket YDallas, TX12 contributionsOn the last day of our vacation, we decided to go to the Island of Osjak - the Island of Love. It is an uninhabited island. Peace, silence with the singing of crickets is the simplicity that characterizes the island. The beautiful green of the pine forest merges with the blue colors of the sky and the blue colors of the sea. We took a water taxi to the island, which is about 15 minutes away, the price of a return ticket per person is €7, which is very affordable. We went around the island in 25 minutes looking for a place where we could stay. Some places cannot be reached from the mainland because there is no paved path and it is very steep and overgrown with bushes, in other places the rocks are very sharp and there are a lot of urchins along the coast. We found a place where we stayed, it wasn't comfortable but we had to be somewhere. For this island, you need to have good protection from the sun, a hat, sunglasses, water shoes, deckchairs or mats because there are stones all around and possibly an umbrella because there is no shade. Of course, something to snack on and a lot of water, because after staying in the water and sun all day, hydration is necessary.
In my opinion if you like secluded places and rock climbing this is the ideal place for you. It's a pity for such a beautiful place to be so unused, it should be arranged a bit, make approaches to the water, a place where you could put deckchairs.... A big minus is that there are no trash cans anywhere.Written 4 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Road066751229051 contributionI came to visit Jerolim and tried their amazing products for the first in July 2024 this year, and I am beyond amazed about the handcraft behind their products! The family works together on the fields. Handpicking everything and produce everything in their own local destillery!
I tried all their oils, liqueurs, their soap and the jarred products produced at their own fields! Fantastic !
IF you are in Korcula, you HAVE to visit their little store in the front of their house! They are so welcoming and always excited to present their products, history and the business, wich is led by Jerolim and his lovely wife Marita. I will next time travel with an empty suitcase so I can fill my case with more products from their shop! It’s a must to visit!Written 20 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The church is located in the promenade, just in front of leisure port. It is a white stone church with the typical bell tower in the middle of the main facade. It is ok.Written 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
