    Local artists
    Open air market with many vendors selling all kinds of souvenirs, jewelry, clothes, food & drinks, art, and more.

    I love to bring home a local souvenir from everywhere we travel and this was the spot for just that. While half the vendors were selling tourist trap crap there were also many local artists set up.

    I purchased a beautiful signed illustration of a nola architectural home. There were plenty of food and snack options but we were short on time and focused on finding something local that we liked.

    Review of: The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk
    Interesting shopping area
    It’s a long thin strip of shops down near the convention centre. Nice views of the bridge over the Mississippi River. Lots of shops and places to eat. Unusual design.

    Beautiful Pieces!
    While walking through the French Market I spotted this vendor and stopped to look for a gift to take home. Just the nicest people and all of the products there were beautiful. I had a tough time deciding and the jeweler spent time with me, showing me options and helping me decide. Once I decided on a piece, he polished it up and made it shine...although it was shiny to begin with. Their prices are really reasonable and I went back on a Wednesday to buy more but they weren't there. I'll be sure to find them when I go back on my next vacation as my only regret is that I didn't buy more when I was there the 1st time!

    Not to be missed!
    To think we almost missed this gem! We walked into a grocery store and commented on a cool sign over the register. The owner said, “Oh, that’s Dr. Bob’s. His gallery is around the corner. You should check it out”. It was such an experience. Dr. Bob even smiled for a picture…he’s not much of a smiler!

    The artwork here is impeccable
    Craig Tracy is an impeccable arttist. Each work is so unique and beautiful. He is frequently there to talk, and the prices are very reasonable. There are different sizes and shapes, to please everyone. We own several.

    We vacationed in New Orleans for a week and a visit (strolling along Royal Street) to this art gallery was a highlight of our trip. The art work is very unique and charming. Carol
    Siekkinen, the owner, is so lovely, friendly and kind; she even had a box of tissues on hand (for visitors, like me, who were so moved, got "emotional"). Readers take note: do yourselves a favor and place this inspirational art gallery high on your 'Things I must do in New Orleans' list!

    It’s actually the French market..
    I would not consider this to be a farmers market as there are very few farmers products on sale here. It’s long and interesting and closes about 5pm.
