Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

About six years ago, I went to this church, which is recommended to me by some friends. The welcome alone made you feel this is the home.folks were Extremely friendly the service was inspiring and lasted a little over an hour and then after church, the congregation went upstairs for snacks, and just fellowship where folks chatted with each other. I felt loved. The music was awesome, they had a live band. I subsequently became a member in 2017.Last year, 2022,First Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn celebrated 200 years of ministry in the Brooklyn Heights area of new York city. There are so many programs at this church. There is a community fridge outside where folks can carry food and those who need will take. There is also a food pantry every Thursday morning from around 9 AM; there are many programs for both old and for young.check us one Sunday at 11 am, 10am July and August. I truly love this church many races many colors many orientations, no discrimination.

The park is a little hidden, so it is never terribly busy. It is a good place to view the skyline at any time of year. The surrounding area is pretty nice too. The bakeries are quite good (Riviera, Joe's, Peter Pan-big donut fans can you tell?).

I was here for the color run and it was all good and fun until it got dark and mosquitos came out! So be sure to keep moving. But, they were organized with getting everyone parked and getting everyone together and ready to run.

I would suggest the next time to give people mosquito repellent of some kind for these types of events.

Interesting artifacts and historical information about the Dumbo area of Brooklyn. If you are nearby, it is worth a peak.

Janna Levin brings some of the best scientific minds here to discuss the latest developments in genetics, medicine, physics, and robotics. Accessible from Manhattan by ferry with great barbecue just a few blocks away. Free, donations accepted. Science and Art meet here. A great place for a cerebral date.

Really lovely unique experience. Staff were lovely and the views were gorgeous. Wine was amazing. It’s a bit awkward to find but we followed the video posted on the instagram page which was very helpful.
Only criticism we would have is that the wine would be better had it come in proper wine glasses rather than IKEA tumbler glasses.

Great place for shopping and dining. Many stores and restaurants options. Easy to get to by subway. The only issue was the mall was a bit run down needs an upgrade.

Lots of people are around on the weekend to go to the big park and they stop by to buy some food. We bought some pastries to take home for breakfast the next day. Friendly sales people.

Lovely Amphitheatre and Good Venue. We went here for a Summer Stage event. Special Edition 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop. NICE N SMOOTH / SPECIAL ED / BUCKSHOT OF BLACK MOON / MASTA ACE / CL SMOOTH / RAH DIGGA / RAMPAGE / SWEET TEE / JOESKI LOVE / SPARKY D / THE B-BOYS / HOSTED BY RALPH MCDANIELS AND VIDEO MUSIC BOX. It was a free concert and we enjoyed. The seating was comfortable with a back, so more comfortable than Forrest Hills Stadium. Decent view of the stage. Good atmosphere. The vendors were quite expensive.

Every seat is good (if the show has seating - some shows are standing room). There are multiple bars and a relatively fast station that serves better tasting than expected pizza. The staff is helpful and attentive.

We were staying just in the edge of Carroll Gardens and Red Hook. After a afternoon sightseeing in Manhattan we took a ferry across the East River to visit the Strong Rope taproom at Red Hook. It’s at a fantastic location overlooking New York Harbour (you can see the Statue of Liberty). There is a load of seating both inside and outside. The building looks to be a converted dock / warehouse building. The staff and other drinkers were all very friendly and it was a really relaxing place to spend a couple of hours. The beers we had were tasty and well brewed. The only drawback was that they don’t sell soft drinks.

    My kids love the rides!
Great place to spend a couple of hours with under-10 kids! Many rides for little ones! Great summer kids' birthday spot, or elementary school event place! Management is approachable and bends backwards to accommodate the events

Beautiful, sad, peaceful, emence - it's an amazing place. Large detailed markers throughout the cemetery. Get a map to help you to navigate or ask one of the staff. They know we're everyone is buried. You have to pay respects to Jackie Robinson and his wife and Gentleman Jim Corbett too. The notable graves are marked on the map. Check their website for hours because you might be here for a while.

This museum can be reached by taking R train to the end, then walk to 101st St and turn left. It is inside Ft. Hamilton, an active army base. Visitors are limited to holders of government issued ID or passport.

The Battle of Brooklyn happened there and General Robert E Lee was stationed at this fort when he was a Captain.
