Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small market meant for locals to get vegetables, flowers, cheese, fresh bread, etc. There are only about 10 stands so this is is no way a "destination" in NYC, but perfect for locals. Everything is wonderful.

Tiny park with a hard court and restroom. Best known for the scenic Squibb Bridge which provides pedestrian access from Brooklyn Heights & Promenade, over the BQE highway, down to the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

We disembarked the Queen Mary here and caught an Uber to take us to our apartment in Brooklyn. There is also a very good ferry here that takes you to a couple of docks in Manhattan. You can walk into Red Hook to a nice residential neighborhood.

We took a tour of Brooklyn Kura’s new brewery space and it was very interesting and informative, and at a reasonable price point. We already were fans of BK’s sake and really enjoyed getting a look behind the scenes. It was particularly special to me to be on tour while the equipment in the expanded space was still being set up, and would interested in returning for another tour at a later date to see the ewuiptnent in action.

Nice downtown park in front of the Borough Hall with a big statue of Christopher to adorn it. Well-planted and lots of places to sit . Subway entrances all around. Not verhy busy on a Sunday.

Not really sure why this is on TA, but it is a tunnel that is used for a practical purpose and not something that tourists should seek out. Period.

We came here to see a Fontaine’s DC gig whilst staying in Manhattan. The venue has two bars, one on entrance level and one in the basement. There is an upper balcony and a raised platform at either side of the main hall. Great place for a gig!

The show was unusual and weird but not particularly interesting or captivating. There didn't seem to be a particular theme or depth to the performance that I could discern. More performance art than dance. Some nice visuals but the music was nothing special and grating at times. It was a bit hard to see some of the show around the many columns. Overall worthwhile but I was hoping for more.

Great fun. We are theatrelovers and we love the theme and all the setting. The games are not obvious but imaginative and tricky. We loved the last room. We had a really wonderful sunday morning.

The pier is on the very south end of Rockaway Parkway in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn. Quiet place to fish in Jamaica Bay. No shortage of benches to sit on.

This park is located on Jamaica Bay in Brooklyn, and features a few walking trails that lead down to a pier. It is a great escape from the city, and a place where you will find a lot of locals enjoying the atmosphere. This is not a tourist attraction, nor was it meant to be. It is a slice of country in the big city.

Pierogi Gallery is now located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan:
155 Suffolk St. NY, NY 10002

They do have another space that is still in Williamsburg Brooklyn:
    The Boiler
    191 N. 14th St. Brooklyn, NY 11249

I recommend checking out either of these spaces. The owners are awesome people and their roster of artists is impressive.

Very concert friendly. Bathroom downstairs is a bummer, but plenty of stalls. Biggest draw rack concession prices - popcorn $15, wow!
