- Tiffany R8 contributionsWe were fortunate enough to have Pete the owner give us our tour. It was very informative and we were able to watch the candymaking process as it was happening. The whole place was decorated lavishly for Halloween. There is over 22,000 ft.² in this place. Each room had a different type of candy. Plus, there is a restaurant within it. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable also. It is by far the coolest candy store I have ever seen. - Rong ZJacksonville, FL6 contributionsWe’ve been living in Jacksonville for a while but didn’t know much about its history and charm until we joined the “Half-Day City Tour in Downtown Jacksonville.” Thanks to our guide, Steve, the experience was fantastic! His witty humor and deep knowledge brought the city’s stories to life, especially those behind the many remarkable buildings downtown.
One tip for fellow travelers: check the weather forecast beforehand and dress warmly if it’s cold. Today was around 10°C (50°F), and we would’ve been freezing if not for the cozy blankets Steve provided.

I only wish the class maybe included tools/molds to help form our candy canes everything is free hand. Since this was our first time axe throwing, we received an excellent tutorial to help us get started. The atmosphere of this venue is super cool. They have an excellent beer/wine selection. It was a gorgeous day, low 70's lots of sun. the creek was charming. There were lots of turtles sunning themselves. No gators, which was alright with me. Very relaxing day on the water.

We really appreciate his encouraging us to do the morning paddle so we could avoid thunderstorms plus we got on the water before other groups and had the creek to ourselves.
