So glad we saw Kinky Boots first as it was fantastic, funny, light hearted, brilliant acting and singing and a comfortable theatre with good faculties and comfy seats.
It had everything you’d expect from a Broadway show – – flashy costumes, great sets, spectacular performances, huge dance numbers, fantastic singing, touching moments and a wonderful underlying message that resona...

The cast perfectly blends their range of classical theater to modern day hysterical adult comedy.
An excellent mash up of traditional Shakespeare theatre and pop culture performed by some very talented thespians.

Happily sipped deliciously addictive cocktails to Monday's open mike with stars from the theatre district dropping in to belt out Nina Simone to Neil Diamond!
We went to a perfect concert and had a perfect table with excellent site lines.

Robertson hails from England and appeared in many West-End shows, perhaps the best remembered as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, the role made famous by fellow-Brit, Julie Andrews.
Loved, loved, loved DTM! Serendipity had us meet one of the singers/staff at a Broadway show.

Spoke with the " bar tender" and creator of the show who seemed genuinely interested in everybody's opinion of the performance, would definitely recommend to friends visiting NYC as an alternative to Broadway shows!
We have seen two of the Imbible productions...the History of Drinking show and the Christmas show....so fun!

We went to see Kinky Boots here in November 2016 - the show was fantastic but the theatre itself is a beautiful, well looked after building, complete with frescoed ceiling and gilt trims.
Intimate theater and perfect stage for Kinky Boots

My husband and I arrived from Chicago and attended the tapings of two shows, one with Jon on April 7, 2015 and one with Trevor on April 20, 2016.
The staff did a great job of loading the theater in an organized fashion.

The monologist we saw was hilarious and engaging, the improvisors were outstanding and the space...well, the performance space at UCB is cool...it's intimate and fun, just like an improv theater should be.
Managed to see a few improv shows over my week of work -- these are some of the best I've seen anywhere in the world (and I've been doing improv for ~25 years) UCB does an amazing job of long form improv (all base...
