Inspired: this stately home Atmosphere: a castle in the country Food and drink: plenty of options Parking: easy once you get in Discovered: been there a few times so far Return: yearly
The food is incredible, wonderful gift shops, peaceful walking trails, photo ops are endless (and now they allow cameras in the house), flower beds and greenhouses are amazing.

We learned a lot both about beer and Asheville, and we sure got to drink plenty.
Furthermore, unlike some of the food tours in the area, one really gets what they pay for and then some.

What a hilarious show, it was great that you learn some about Asheville history while getting plenty of laughs and to top it off you can drink a few beers, etc while on board.
The entertainers are hilarious, the bus is whimsical, the variety of where you go is interesting, and you can even win things in trivia, like a can of cat food... yup.

We loved the “Food Fan’s Foot Tour” with our guide Stu! Stu gave us insight into Asheville’s history while sampling some of the local restauarants downtown!

Instead of just dropping us off for an hour to drink on our own, our excellent guide, Mike, poured suggested beers for us, answered our questions, and flexibly tailored his narrative to the group's dynamic.
It is a beautiful to walk through the city, get a taste of the local beer and food and meet a lot of great people.

We did the classic tour with Kasey yesterday and had a wonderful time enjoying great food and drink, learning local tips and history, and meeting some very interesting people on the tour with us.

I know that sometimes folks will discourage you from taking a food tour when visiting a city, but this one was totally worth it.
They have an indoor and outdoor concert area, big garage doors that open up, and food trucks.

Our host was very knowledgeable and encouraged us all to share our thoughts on the different wines (and food pairings) that we sampled.
The location is good too - lots of places to grab a drink or meal nearby or at their on-site, cozy speakeasy.

Love the idea of brunch outside with live music and the food and beer are both amazing!
Whether you want something a bit experimental or something easier to drink you will find something at Burial and it will be good.
