#1 of 11 Museums in Beaumont
One of the best museums in Beaumont!
A must see! (Note: we paired it with Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum which was a nice reference to lives of McFaddin’s along with dinner at Port Neches Wheelhouse Restaurant, both were treats in themselves.)
#2 of 11 Museums in Beaumont
One of my favorite museums to visit.
This is a gem of a museum that is a bit off the beaten track, but a truly authentic preservation of a 1901 oil boom town.

a great museum to learn how energy works - fascinating exhibits - kids do like it - recommend - good to do with Gladys City too
Beaumont was the place where the Texas oil industry got started, and this good little museum, funded in part by generous grants from oil giants among others, does an admirable job of chronicling it.
#6 of 11 Museums in Beaumont
One of the finest Civil War and Texas history museums anywhere.
We visit Beaumont at least once a year to see the local museums.

It's one of the best museums I've ever been to.
The John J. French Museum is the oldest home in Beaumont and built by one of the founders of the city.
