Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- SuzanneDallas, TX319 contributionsBreathtakingly unique park. We planned to arrive before 7:00 a.m. to avoid any potential lines to get in or waits for parking and that was a good call. Went to the “hot spots “ first and then drove the remaining scenic drive. Seemed to avoid huge crowds but increasingly busy late morning. Enjoyed Arches overall due to the close proximity to many of the arches/overlooks from the parking area. Recommend visiting- nothing else quite like it.Written 6 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Connie EBartow, FL111 contributionsWe enjoyed Canyonlands National Park. We are not big hikers anymore and we were able to drive and see a lot of the park. We did walk to Mesa Arch and it was magnificent! We also, because we had a 4WD SUV thought we could do the Shaffer Trail. Be aware it is three hours long with no real place to turn around. There were times we wondered if we were still on the actual road. It was thrilling and beautiful but a little scary at times. We had an excellent time in Canyonlands National Park.Written 26 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
