Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Abigail R55 contributionsThe line to get in was not long! There were some nice short hikes with views. Island in the Sky was my favorite district. The Needles District was my lest favorite part. I thought the drive into the southern part of the park was prettier than the actual park.Written 26 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - budzy829Henderson, NV685 contributionsWe saw this 1st thing driving to the park and planned to check it out before the day ends. It did not disappoint! A great place to end a day of hiking and relax by the river.Written 19 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JimH_TarheelCedar City, UT438 contributionsIcebox Canyon is a trail that traverses a stream bed, over red rock and to a mesa view of Huntress Arch. Right off of Hwy 128 about 4 miles from downtown Moab. This trailhead starts from a parking lot and follow a stream. There's lots of tree canopying the trail and stream. The hike is about 2 miles each way and would rate it mid-level and can be strenuous at times. Take plenty of water and have good hiking shoes. You'll be rewarded by an arch nestled with red rock. Climbers also frequent the area. Enjoy!Written 28 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
