The walk in along the ocean was pretty amazing, but for me what made this park great is the albatross and other wildlife at the end of this hike.
If you love nature, and want to see a natural phenomenon that very, very few people ever get the opportunity to see, go to Ka’ena Point.

It is about an hour of gentle hiking to the park at the Point.
Not the safest beach to visit (at least the surf was up when we were there) but a lovely place to enjoy nature....safe to get your toes wet but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are a strong swimmer/surfer.

This is a very spacious park, with a grassy area and it perfect for picnics and large gatherings.
The Maili Beach Park is always busy with families playing or youngster teams practicing or beach walkers.
