Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- travelmystiqueNew York City, NY292 contributionsThe exhibits were beautiful and fascinating. Lots of Disney-themed paintings. The staff was very knowledgeable. Almost purchased an interesting piece that looked like a port hole but the price was more than our budget.Written 19 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Claude PRapid City, SD585 contributionsUncrowded, unspoiled, beautiful. At least on the April weekday we were here the beach was uncrowded with nothing but the sounds of the sea. Beautiful.Written 14 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 無名World8,170 contributions...stopped and watched some local kids jumping off this classic double arched bridge from Haleiwa Joe's parking lot. The kids were having a blast, and I think jumping off this classic bridge is some kind of local tradition for them. It's a nice looking old bridge that just celebrated it's hundredth birthday last month. The powerlines that run parallel to it kinda ruin its aesthetic, but still it's a nice spot to stop and checkout. The stream the bridge crosses over always has paddlers in kayaks (canoes?) and paddle boards coming by. I wanna get one of those badass motorized paddle boards and checkout streams and areas like here. It's really beautiful spot here; I wish they'd do something with those powerlines.Written 24 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - interceptpubsColumbus, IN1,024 contributionsThis simple memorial sits somewhat incongruously in the parking area for Haleiwa Beach Park. The approximately 20-foot-tall Art Deco column has bronze tablets on three sides (the forth side is currently blank) listing the names of service members killed during World War II, Korea War, and Vietnam War from "Waialua-Kahuku" (basically the hamlets that span Oahu's North Shore). The memorial sits in the center of a small circular grass lawn separated from the parking area by a short concrete wall.
On our visit, we found the memorial to be respectfully maintained, but also pretty much ignored by the folks here mainly to enjoy the beach. However, it is perhaps fitting that these men who gave their lives in service to their country have a memorial in a place where people come to exercise some of the freedoms that they so dearly paid to protect.Written 1 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
