- Julie HBoulder, CO8 contributionsWe reserved 8 kayaks and 1 three person canoe with Doug Boswell. I grew up in the Moorefield area, but I haven't lived there for 30 years. So, I didn't know who to choose for kayak/canoe rental. Doug grew up in the Moorefield area also. My parents who still live nearby recommended him, so I called him. He was very accommodating to our requests. We had 6 additional kayaks that we needed transfered from the end point back to where we started, and he gladly helped for a small fee. Doug answered all of my questions and gave suggestions for those of us who were kayak beginners. Our trip was ideal. The weather was hot but dry. He followed our location and was waiting for us at the end! Excellent service.
