Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Have Camera, Will TravelSouth Bend, IN3,808 contributionsThis just seems like a rest stop with a bathroom, a view of the bridge and maybe a passing ship. I wasn't really aware of the history of the location until I was reading the sign and was pleasantly surprised by the National Park affiliation. I do love me a National Park Property.
Read up on the location a little bit. It is very interesting. The whole area is pretty amazing with Cape Disappointment, Fort Stevens, Fort Canby, The Columbia River Bar, and the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park, which this location is affiliated with. There is just so much history here!Written 13 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a great walk through the area with boards giving great detail about the Chinook Indians prior to the settlers taking over the area as the Indians died off due to disease. Definitely worth stopping off here.Written 3 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Robby G CToronto, Canada81,632 contributionsI found this church and it was beautiful. The church was painted in yellow and the roof is black.
I like the steeple. It shows where the wind goes.
Church starts at 11 A.M. on Sundays.

Food was great and prices were very reasonable! Pool table area in the back is as comfortable as your living room. loved it!Written 23 April 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
