Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cala Montgó is one of the beaches located in the surroundings of L'Escala, one of the towns in Costa Brava Region, in Girona Province, in the North of Catalonia. Some friends did a hiking from l'Estartit to Cala Montgó and see some very beautiful and unknown pebble beaches. The last one, we could see from a very nice lookout was Cala Montgó. We can not arrive there (it was almost the sunset), but we could see very beautiful views of the beach. I hope finish the hike in a next future and arrive to this sand beach.

Picturesque hilltop walk with gorgeous views. There are a few very lovely looking restaurants and quaint little shops. The cottages are postcard perfect.

First time ever doing SUP and a little nervous even though the water was pretty calm. You can go a surprisingly long way in an hour, once you master the knack it is quite calming although 8 falls in an hour suggests the mastery was lacking. Great value.
