- Annie17 contributionsThis is a smaller generally quieter harbour-type beach. I was delighted to find it because the sea is much calmer than elsewhere and it has facilities for the disabled. On the left hand side of the harbour there is a lifeguard station where as well as general toilets there is an adapted and accessible toilet/shower room/changing room. The lifeguard keeps the keys to this facility so it isn't open to abuse. I was able to leave my scooter securely in the shade whilst I went into the sea. The lifeguards will give you as much or as little assistance as you need, even going into the water with you and supporting you as necessary, they even have a range of equipment to facilitate this. It is not well-publicised, fortunately I was alerted to it by other disabled holiday makers, and hotels accepting disabled travellers and professing to be accessible should be informing their guests of its presence.
It can be rather noisy particularly in peak season though as there is jet-ski hire at the entrance to the harbour, and people using the jet-skis do like to advertise their presence. They could not do enough for us , we said we needed bikes Mon- weds , could I get spd pedals , carbon frame , disc brakes & a brqcket for my garmin
No problem , all done , reasonable price & sorted my seat height prior to leaving

With We Love Rent I was able to hire a city bike for a week, a scooter for 2 days and a car for 2 separate days ; all in perfect conditions, price was beyond reasonable and Gianni , the Italian owner , couldn't have been more helpful. Stairs/corridors quite dated but clean
Room .. clean, spacious nice balcony with sea view to the left.
Bathroom clean, good shower, slightly temperamental lights.
Pool.. on the roof, small but more than adequate to cool down in and for my daughter to enjoy, plenty of beds available. Bar open during pool hours serving drinks and food. ( food very good)
Breakfast buffet style .. excellent variety, lovely fruit fresh daily, very random items but this added to the international feel. (Cauliflower next to the bacon?!)

- Greg MMillersville, PA261 contributionsMy wife and I rented bicycles from this bike shop around the corner from the Hotel HM Alma Beach. Very friendly staff.... a Russian young man whose name escapes me. I should have written it down. Well, anyway, we rented the bicycles for the entire day and had a great time. Rode 5+ miles to Palma from Can Pastilla and back on the bike path. All flat terrain, no hills. Jumped off every once in a while to have liquid (beer) refreshment.
If you are staying in Can Pastilla on Majorca this is a very fun thing to do. They rent by the hour and half day also. Great exercise, beautiful bicycles, plenty of sea air and sunshine. You'll be so healthy afterwards you won't believe yourself !!
