The Venetian Museum and the castle itself was great to explore, but the Cultural Festival Domus which puts on concerts and outdoor movies every night at the castle is a must see.
The views are wonderful from the museum and we highly recommend the Venetian Museum for anyone wanting to add some history to your holiday in the Greek Islands.
Archeological Museum

My wife and I love to visit a few museums to gain local history of the areas where we stay and we were glad to visit the Archaeological Museum of Naxos.
Like many of the Greek Museums I visited, it is small and somewhat tatty, but the collection is unsurpassed.

Vallindras Kitron Distillery Chalkio 11.6 km away
#2 of 3 Museums in Chalkio
The Kitron Distillery is a small ‘museum,’ but the docents do an excellent job of explaining everything and we found it quite fascinating that they are still using the same equipment for distilling.
It's like a museum, beautiful, you can try also the drinks and you can buy a variety of drinks made of the local fruit Kitro.
